Hi Stevie, I did the VIP in around 2015, I also did that by myself. Being a solo didn't faze me. You can hang with the tour guide/group even to go on rides, usually in the last few hrs, or you can break off and enjoy the rides yourself once the main tour portion is over. You can't go wandering yourself during the actual tour of the backlot. You do a get a lunch where you mingle/sit at a table with others, but that didn't bother me as you just talk about the tour.

No worries. There are lots of people coming and going from Disneyland. You don't feel unsafe because there's so many of you. I'll admit there is the odd homeless person wandering around or sitting at the light crossing, but it's very rare. Saw 1 out of 7 days, and they're not sleeping in the area just occasionally walking around.

Well said. It used to be a great airline when my dad used to fly in their 747s. The only reason I picked it was my limited time and it is nonstop. Otherwise would take AirNZ or Fuji

If only it was illegal. I think I was "randomly" chosen as I am only red tier. Can guarantee those that weren't downgraded were higher tiers. Trying to speak to anyone at Qantas to find answers is very difficult. Still waiting on my refund of $500 that was offered, even though it's no where near the difference I should receive. Thanks for watching Larry. Yes, ruined my entire trip as I was on such a happy high, ready for 15hr fight home and downgraded. Yes, I agree, SQ is fabulous, but sadly I can't fly them to the US, would have to go via Singapore which would be an additional long haul flight, but if I was going to Europe, definitely.

Can happen with any carrier unfortuantely. My family of three was downgraded from PE to Y on SQ earlier this year. Though we were called in advance of arriving at the airport.

Yes, it can happen to anyone but there were a lot of factors as to why I should have been at the bottom of the Downgrade list, but as I'm not a high flyer with QF, I can guess why I was chosen. The disappointment was mainly in the lack of compensation, I'm still waiting on the originally promised amount plus trying to get something more reasonable.

Hello. I am flying this same exact flight in a couple weeks and wish I came across your video before buying my ticket. I had heard stories about Qantas messing with seat reservations for lower tiered passengers so atleast I didn’t risk that and stuck with a basic economy seat 😆 I had a friend get kicked out of his exit row paid seat for a higher tier passenger and refunded after 2 months! Sadly looks like it is the end of days a great airline. My dad used to fly their 747s and used to love them. It is probably my first and last time flying them 😢

@@yazz3r Yes it really stings you to not use them again unless no other option. After 4 months I finally heard from someone and got my owed compensation, total shocker. I had people on my flight over moved from their exit row too, very strange.

I'm making my way through your videos - but the one on New Zealand cruise stops (we hope to not get canceled on our upcoming December voyage) was the best I've seen by anyone on that subject by no small margin. Very professional. Just Jazza might also have been referring to the long quiet stretches in this video with no voice-over and no music. Actually thought for a minute or two that it was a technical glitch.

Hi Squizzy, Yes, all American Outlets. They did have 1 Australian adapter sitting in the American plug next to the TV (you don't really notice it, well hidden). Had a little note saying, please use this for your convenience and if you took it, they would charge your onboard account. I do always say bring your own anyway because then you can charge 2 things, as opposed to just one. Camera might get low the same time your phone does, etc... Enjoy your cruise!
